Willoughby Bean granted a certificate of occupation for Amboise , a 2,000 acre property.

Willoughby Bean appointed Magistrate at Brisbane Water

Willoughby Bean sold property to David Maziere who later sold to David Aspinally

1832

Henry Donnison and family moved into the unoccupied property. Donnison made a living from the timber within the area. Erina was virtually their own.

1834

Richard Jones granted 2,000 acres at Erina - the same land, strangely with no recorded objections.

1852

Henry Donnison died and his daughters Hannah and Laura legally occupied the property after 30 years of uncertain ownership.

1859

Public Road opened

1860's

Mrs Cappers School operated  for a few years on the Donnison sisters land.

1873

Owner of the adjoining 600 acre land Henry Ferris died.

1879

George Howard and family established a sawmill with just 2 employees.

1883

William Joyce Hobbs purchased the 2,000 acre property from the Donnison sisters who then sold the property to land agents Boyd & King.

1885

Boyd and King started The Gosford Times Newspaper to promote and sell the sub-divided land.

1886

Punt Bridge constructed across Erina Creek.

1888

Subdivision of Erina and planning of Streets

1891

James Henry Legge purchased the neighbouring 600 acre land from Henry Ferris' wife.

1892

Erina Heights Public School erected - the stone building now heritage listed.

1893

Erina West School opened. (formerly known as Woodport).

1923

Erina War Memorial unveiled.

1925

George Howards sawmill now had 14 employees.

1927

Woodport name changed to Erina West.

1930's

Electricity came to Erina

1958

Erina Drive-In Theatre opens

1962

New Punt Bridge built and old bridge destroyed.

1964

Erina High School opens.

1985

Erina Drive-In closes

1987

Erina Fair opens on Drive-In site.
