CopacabanaIn 1916 Hardys Bay was subdivided. As a result Killcare etstate was created.
The name is apparently a pun suggesting "kill care at Killcare"
The quiet village of Killcare boasts Putty Beach, one of the most gorgeous beaches on the Central Coast. There are extensive walking trails around the rocks, a surf club at the south end and BBQ picnic area at the north end.
The Bouddi Coastal Walk stretches from Putty Beach through to Macmasters Beach. This 8km one-way walk, taking in Maitland Bay and Little Beach, takes around 4 hours each way and is one of the most spectacular on the Central Coast.
Killcare lookout features ocean views all the way to Sydney's Palm Beach.
