Bateau Bay is extremely popular for fishing either from the beach itself or the coastal rocks. The rock cliffs are an iconic feature of the Central Coast region as well as the many rocky bases ideal for exploring at low tide.

Bateau Bay is home to the Wyrabalong National Park which spans 140ha. Be on the lookout for goannas, the tawny frogmouth as well as other exciting wildlife.
