Now is the time for you to step into the wonderful world of oil painting!

This 4-week introductory course for oil painting novices offers you the opportunity to learn the skills that you need to start your creative journey in manageable 3-hour weekly workshops. In a friendly and supportive environment, you will learn the fundamental steps to create a still-life painting from reference.

Dates: Sunday - 14, 21, 28 July and 4 August 10am to 1pm.
10.00am – 1.00pm

Learn about:
Blocking in shapes and using tone
Colour mixing
Painting mediums, oil paints & the various brushes and equipment used
Brushwork – blending – direction
Adding details and highlights

You will be encouraged to bring your own creativity to your painting as you explore the many ways that you can paint with oils.
