Immerse yourself in a festival of stories and ideas on the scenic Central Coast.
With author talks and panels, as well as evening conversation events, writing workshops, local book launches, a literary cruise, family fun day, schools program and more, the Words on the Waves Writers Festival offers a diverse range of high quality literary events for both the Central Coast community and visitors to the area.
The festival will include more than 80 authors speaking at 70 sessions, so there is something for everyone. Authors include Tony Birch, Melissa Ashley, Julie Goodwin, Pia Miranda, Robyn Davidson, Bruce Pascoe, Nam Le, Rosie Batty, and Gregory P Smith.
Selected events are free of charge and the cost ranges up to $160 for a full weekend pass. Check out our website for more details and to see the full program.
