Wildfood & Medicinal Plants Crash Course
With optional camping (at no extra charge) for this course only.
Embrace Events is again teaming up with Jake Cassar Bushcraft to run a Wildfood Crash Course at a new venue. For those who have attended Jake's past courses, this will offer quite a bit of new information, including information on the uses of some rainforest plants.
The day will be held at Ironbark Bushcamp at Mangrove Mountain (approx 120 min from Sydney) in a beautiful location at Ironbark Creek.
Jake is offering a one-off overnight camping as an option, as this is his new venue for running his two day courses (coming soon) and he will be starting to build a large grass tipi. While this is not a two day course, those who choose the camping option will learn how to make the large grass tipi/shelter by participating in the inititial construction.
Next course: Sunday 31st March 2018 (all location details are sent after ticket is purchased).
This is a very unique experience and for those that know Jake or have been on one of his educational walks, will know just how much knowledge, wisdom and passion that he packs into such a short amount of time.
Jake will start with an introduction to his important conservation work, before taking the group on an epic bush tucker walk to show us how we can all survive by living off our incredible native and introduced plants!
Sorry, not for kids. As much as Jake loves doing courses and bushcraft for kids, please note these specific crash courses are for adults over 16 only because the content is heavily focussed on educational and medicinal information for learning and kids often grow impatient with the lack of 'kids time' that they may hope for.
NOTE: Maximum 20 adults (over 16s only).
