Y4Y Creative Connection Big Chair Project 2022

Council is seeking a lead Community Artist and multiple Emerging Artists to deliver an exciting local community art project on the Coast: Y4Y Creative Connection Big Chair Project 2022.

The successful Lead Community Artist will be chosen to facilitate the creation of designs on a Big Chair, located at The Entrance, while multiple emerging artists will also get to participate in the project. The successful applicants will be given the chance to engage young people with two community workshops to develop artwork designs based on the identity of town centres.

Emerging artists looking to gain experience on a Community Art Project are encouraged to apply, with the opportunity to work with a mentor through the eMerge youth art program.

Submissions are NOW OPEN, with applications due by 5pm Monday 17 January 2022.
