The Ultimate Summer Holiday Destination for Kids at The Art House, Central Coast
Parents and grandparents will find the stress of entertaining the kids after Christmas a breeze with family tickets available to both shows, and multiple performance dates to suit all schedules.
Specifically designed for kids who move to the beat of their own drum, Brass Monkeys is packed with live music, acrobatics, a zillion hula hoops, and making the impossible possible. This is the latest extravaganza from the acclaimed creators of Children are Stinky, and produced by Circus Trick Tease. The show is full of high-flying tricks and acrobatics set to make heads spin, “when performing in a circus tent, the balances are so high that Malia’s head sometimes pokes out of the top!” said Circus Trick Tease.
Budding young circus stars of the Central Coast are also lucky enough to join an optional workshop with the performers, featuring a combination of acrobalance, tumbling, juggling, and hula hooping. The workshop is perfect for children aged 5-10 years and no experience is necessary.
The Ukulele Kids Show gives kids the chance to learn 3 chords on the popular and trendy instrument as they play along to the story of Jasmina, a shy young girl at school who learns to express herself through music and unlock her musical potential. Up to 100 ukuleles are handed out to the audience to foster musical expression, creativity, and confidence.
With over 15 years’ experience, creator and teacher Woody Clark’s work has been tried and tested across schools, community programs and festivals, with proven and sustained results. “I love teaching kids and their parents about the fun and creativity that comes with music. It really is a universal language that permeates every facet of our daily lives. The Kookaburras singing in the morning, the music of the suburban train on the tracks or the laughter and singing of the school yard. It flows in and out of each and every day.”
One thing is for sure, the holidays will not be boring with the Summer @ The Art House Program!
