The Makers Studio Making It Happen
Join the Makers Studio, become a member and enjoy the companionship of other creatives, opportunities to increase skills and participate in a plethora of activities.
Master Printmakers workshops will be happening each month and coming up:
Lynne Britten Batik, hot wax resist workshop 22/23February
Seraphina Martin will present Collagraph with Viscosity printing on the 21/22 March.
Kathryn Orton workshop lino block and woodblock jigsaw prints 25/26 April.
Lorna Crane contemporary fibre artist presents Think Ink and a bit more 16/17May
Members Development Days:
These workshops give members an opportunity to learn new techniques in printmaking.
Janine Debenham will run Cardboard and Carborundum drypoint printing 1/2 February.
Therese Gabriel Wilkins run basics in Tetra Pak drypoint printings 7th March.
Members Creative Days:
Every alternate Thursday and Saturday from 10-4p.m. members bring projects they are working on and create in a supportive atmosphere. $20 a day for access to equipment.
The Makers Annual Exhibition :- A venue and dates are to be organised.
International Print Exchange : Fragility 2019 is being posted to participants in the next week. The New Print Exchange for 2020 will be announced soon.
There are so many opportunities for our Central Coast community to get involved, explore their creativity, and connect with other interesting inspiring people while having a whole lot of fun in the process.
