The Lakes Festival is one of the Central Coast's most highly anticipated annual events and is back in full swing this Friday 4 until Sunday 13 November.

The popular 10-day festival offers something for everyone, with a program of sporting, family, cultural, educational, art and live music events on and around our region’s waterways.

Locals and visitors are encouraged to check out:

  • Light Up the Lake at Memorial Park, The Entrance, which is a festival favourite and set to return this year in person. Enjoy a night of entertainment and music with headliners Beddy Rays, The Rions, and Le Shiv, as well as plenty of food and drink stalls to choose from. Finish the night watching a fireworks display light up the water.
  • A range of festivals, events and fairs including SURFSOUNDS beachside festival, Umina Beach, Sunset Social: Latin on the Lake at Long Jetty, the Sustainable Future Festival, Mingara and the Toukley Art and Craft Fair.
  • Creative activities and art workshops such as Art in the Park, Avoca Waterside Weaving Workshop, Love the Lakes Seafood Cooking Class and the Creative Nature Children's Corner.
  • Free outdoor adventures for those looking to get active including the Bouddi Coastal Run, Colour Our Coast fun run, the Women's Surf Day, SUP Yoga at Budgewoi, Long Jetty and Ettalong Beach, and The Lakes Bike Rides. For something more leisurely, head to the Breakfast with the Birds event at the Central Coast Wetlands, Pioneer Dairy.

The Lakes Festival is a great opportunity for everyone to get out and about, discover or even rediscover places right on your doorstep, and celebrate with family and friends.
