The infamous The Wharf Revue set sail to the Central Coast
As a mainstay of the musical comedy calendar, audiences raring to get back to the theatre after these long lockdowns can catch the crew of Jonathan Biggins, Drew Forsythe and Phillip Scott with Amanda Bishop without travelling to Sydney.
Can of Worms is the crew’s latest show taking aim at current affairs and politics with quick-fire wit, and creative musical parody to give audiences a much-needed laugh. After what the world has been through in 2020 and 2021, the team have no shortage of new material to draw on.
Like comedy chameleons, Jonathan, Drew, Phillip and Mandy make up the entire cast as highly skilled performers switching between a vast array of characters at lightning speed and with uncanny accuracy.
Loyal Wharf Revue fans are already booking across the two shows, an evening and a matinee, to dust off the loungewear and get back out to the thrill of live performance.
“The indefatigable and hilariously sharp-witted Wharf Revue team just keep getting better and better.” Canberra Times
"So hysterical that twice I was brought to tears – an activity usually reserved for funerals, Puccini and hitting my thumb with a hammer.” Sydney Morning Herald
