The Countdown is on for the Central Coast – Less Than Two Weeks to go Until Talented Entertainer Gregg Arthur Comes to Town!
The show will bring audiences some of the most beautiful songs ever written including The Windmills Of Your Mind, Nature Boy, The Look Of Love, If You Go Away, My Funny Valentine, Body and Soul and so much more.
Talented Australian singer/songwriter Gregg Arthur is coming to the Central Coast and he’s bringing some of Australia’s best musicians with him!
Gregg’s career has seen him perform on stages all over the globe. Whilst overseas he earned praise from industry legends including Tony Bennett who said, “I love the way you sing. You have a fan in the way that you phrase… it’s perfect.”
Gregg has just returned back on Australian soil and as part of his first regional tour will be performing at Laycock Street Community Theatre on Friday 28thJune.
Accompanying Gregg on stage will be his jazz quartet and a string quartet creating a unique concert experience.
The 2-hour show features orchestrations written for Gregg by the late Maestro Tommy Tycho AM MBE, popular adult contemporary hits, classic jazz standards, and songs written by Gregg that have become much loved fan favourites.
“After several years travelling and performing overseas it’s great to be back touring Australia. I’m very excited to be visiting Gosford next month with eight of Australia’s most talented musicians. We have chosen a wonderful selection of music and look forward to bringing this to local Central Coast residents,” says Gregg Arthur.
Joining Gregg on stage is Quartet Quartet, eight of Sydney’s most respected musicians including Andrew Scott on Piano, Craig Scott on Double bass, Tim Geldens on Drums, Michael Avgenicos on Tenor sax, Tatyana Lukich and Nataliya Lukich on Violin, Marianne Yeomans on Viola and Sally Schinckel-Brown on Cello.
