The Boathouse Hotel Patonga Opens Boutique Apartment Accommodation
The idyllic Central Coast located hotel is the latest Boathouse Group accommodation offering to open, with Barrenjoey House in Palm Beach welcoming guests in February.
“Our team has had a lot of fun designing the three apartments and we are really enjoying the addition of accommodation to The Group,” said Andrew Goldsmith. “Patonga’s location is unique in that you can get away from it all and enjoy a classic Australian coastal holiday, while still only being a 20-minute ferry ride from Palm Beach, or a 1.5-hour drive from Sydney.”
The accommodation includes a one bedroom, two bedroom and three bedroom apartment, located on the upper level of the Hotel. Each apartment includes a private balcony with water views, separate living and dining areas, large bathrooms with marble ensuites, and a kitchenette or kitchen.
“The surrounding natural beauty and the rarity that Patonga is still a working fishing village inspired the interior design,” said Pip Goldsmith, Creative Director. “The materials used include timber and terrazzo flooring, which is ideal for sandy feet. We have included relaxed and coastal interiors, such as nautical custom-designed fabrics, patterned lampshades and handmade shell mirrors.”
Many of the interior pieces featured in the apartments are available to purchase at The Boathouse Home store in Palm Beach.
The apartments are ideal for families, with many outdoor activities including bike riding, fishing and stand up paddle boarding, as well as a new children’s park across the road. For adults, long seafood lunches on the waterside deck are best followed by relaxing on the private balcony with a cocktail, watching the fishing boats pass by.
Whether for a weekend or a longer holiday, Patonga offers something for everyone. The Hotel downstairs is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Wednesday – Sunday 7am – 9pm
Monday – Tuesday 7am – 3pm
