Rhonda Burchmore to Get ‘Up Close and Personal’ at The Art House
Acclaimed by the Sydney Morning Herald as 'totally embraceable' and 'larger than life', Rhonda Burchmore has been regarded as one of the major stars of Australian Theatre for the past three decades.
After 35 years in the business she continues to go from strength to strength, and now for one performance only, Rhonda Burchmore brings an intimate show at The Art House on Tuesday 19 February.
In the first show of The Art House’s daytime program for 2019, musical theatre fans will be treated to hand-picked songs from Rhonda’s incredible 35 years in the industry, as well as up close and personal stories on her career in musical theatre, cabaret and television.
In a stunning program, Rhonda has hand-selected her favourite songs from the musicals Mamma Mia, Hot Shoe Shuffle, Into the Woods, Guys and Dolls and many more. Rhonda brings together classic musical numbers, from Diamonds Are a Girl’s Best Friend and Big Spender, to Blue Moon, What a Difference a Day Makes, Sway, among many others.
'I love performing my own show because I get to select the songs I want to sing, I can share the stories that I know they enjoy hearing, and I can have a chat to the audience if I feel like it,' Rhonda said.
Don’t miss this exclusive performance from one of Australia’s finest performers, on the Central Coast for one day only.
