Repairs underway to restore The Entrance Boardwalk
The boardwalk, located north of the Azzuro Blu complex, is a much-loved feature for residents, businesses and visitors. These works are to address maintenance issues left by the outgoing lessee, to esnure the community can once again enjoy uninterrupted access to this iconic space.
Council Mayor Lawrie McKinna, said restoring The Entrance Boardwalk is a priority for Council.
“This waterfront space holds great value for both our community and visitors. We’re committed to reopening it as soon as possible so everyone can enjoy our beautiful waterfront safely,” Mayor McKinna said.
The works will include repairs to the boardwalk structure to replace rotted and damaged timbers, allowing safe passage for all.
In addition, Council is currently reviewing the Azzuro Blu complex, a major waterfront hospitality and dining complex at The Entrance. The review aims to support refurbishment works that will restore the venue and ensure it remains accessible and enjoyable for the community.
