Nominations Closing Soon for the Central Coast Aged Care and Disability Achievement Awards
Final nominations are being sought after from organisations, recipients of care and family members, and are still open until the Friday 4th November.
Presented by SEASONS Network, the Awards provide the opportunity to recognise and reward the outstanding efforts and achievements of local staff and businesses, who are excelling in their areas of expertise across the aged care and disability sectors.
Event Manager, Elyce Bichel, said the awards recognise those who go above and beyond, rewarding the hardworking individuals and groups who give tirelessly to our aged care and disability care communities.
“On a daily basis, aged care professionals, volunteers and organisations are working tirelessly to improve the quality of life for older Australians and those living with a disability,” Ms Bichel said.
“The Awards are a way to celebrate the outstanding leadership, innovation and care undertaken by the many individuals and organisations working in the Central Coast.”
With some categories already full, nominations can still be made for the following categories:
- Home Care Employee of the Year
- Aged Care Employee or Facility of the Year
- Disability Sector Employee of the Year
- Disability Service of the Year
- Retirement Village of the Year
Anyone can nominate an individual or business who they believe to be making a noteworthy contribution towards the care and wellbeing of people within the Central Coast aged or disabled community.
Winners will be announced at an event on Friday 18 November at Diggers @ The Entrance.
