Mountain Sounds Presents: Public Holiday Eve feat. Dom Dolla + West Thebarton
Starting out in the Melbourne underground EDM scene, Dom Dolla has since established himself as one of the most in-demand electronic DJ/producers in Australia. He’s made a name for himself both nationally and internationally and earned the support of influential EDM artists such as Pete Tong, Diplo and Tchami. He also received a much coveted ARIA nomination for best dance release of 2017 back home in Aus and reached number one in the Beatport Charts for his singles “You” and “Be Randy”.
Dom Dolla has made his way onto the bill of some of Australia’s biggest and best music festivals such as Splendour in the Grass and Beyond the Valley and now he’s on his way to the Central Coast to blow our minds too.
Also joining us to help launch this long weekend are the rock-hydra septet from Adelaide, West Thebarton - who are ready to grace us with their “razor sharp riffs and seriously tight melodic tones”. Rolling Stone declared their single Moving Out as “destined to be a sure-fire hit”. And with support from Triple J plus community stations, they weren’t wrong! West Thebarton won over the crowds at BIGSOUND 2016 and 2017 and they’re ready to capture our hearts too.
Coast favourites Nelipot, and Newcastle legends Raave Tapes, will also be taking the stage to help us farewell Friday and say hello to the three-day weekend.
So pack ‘er up boys and girls and make sure you head down to The Beery, Terrigal on the 25 January to send off the working week. Doors open at 7pm and this Public Holiday Eve party is an over 18’s event.
