Local Medical Practice Group Partners with Wyong Roos
The Wyong Rugby League Football Club are an Australian Rugby League Club based on the Central Coast of New South Wales. The Club competes in the Intrust Super Premiership New South Wales Cup and the Central Coast Division Rugby League. Wyong Rugby League Club, also known as the ‘Roos’ is the oldest established Club on the Central Coast. Its history can be traced back to around 1900 and possibly as far back as 1893. It was born out of the district from Dooralong, Wyong, Jilliby, Tuggerah & Morisset. The initial home base was located at Baker Park in Central Wyong.
The Wyong Roos are the 'feeder' Club to the NRL Sydney Roosters. In 2018 the Wyong Roos have teams competing in the Intrust Super Premiership NSW, Central Coast, and Ladies League Tag competitions. The Club is hoping for an explosive season with an increase in players across the board contributing to exciting games and growth in the sport.
The ‘high quality health care’ medical group local provider is delighted to be supporting the local community through the new partnership with Wyong Rugby League Club and vice versa for the Roos Club. “Our players and their supporting families will be able to benefit from the comprehensive service offering of the four local medical practices combined with the convenience of coverage across the Central Coast,” states Wyong Rugby League Club Sponsorship Coordinator, Rebecca Ives.
Rugby League is a dynamic and high impact sport with injuries occurring regularly. The local medical group is able to care for players and is open extended hours and over the weekend to especially cater to sporting injury management. Many of the practitioners also have a special interest in sports injuries, prevention and management.
To make it even more convenient for patients, the medical practices also offer pathology, allied health services not to mention radiology and chemist either on site or very close by.
The medical practices are currently welcoming new patients, walk- ins and referrals.
