Libraries are champions of these ideals - everyone is welcome in our branches and we offer a range of services for people from all backgrounds including:
Books in languages other than English (LOTE) for all ages are available at selected branches and can be ordered through your local library. The State Library of NSW has collections in over 40 languages and you can order up to 20 items for a fee.
The State Library provides online multicultural services for NSW residents including IELTS, magazines, newspapers and dictionaries, all accessible with your Central Coast Library card. Our eMagazine platform Overdrive-Libby also has over 500 eMagazines in different languages, covering a wide variety of interests.
Older residents can gain confidence in skills with smartphones, tablets and Zoom with Tech Savvy Seniors videos, available in a range of languages.
