Graffiti Clean Up Kits Now Available
The approach of Rapid Removal is considered Best Practice in combating graffiti. The longer it remains, the more attention it gets and the more difficult it is to remove.
Council removes graffiti from Council assets including playgrounds, community halls, surf clubs, public toilets and skate parks.
Council encourages the community to remove graffiti from their property as soon as possible. The longer the graffiti remains on display the greater the reward for the vandal, the more likely it is that the location will continue to be targeted and the harder it is to remove the graffiti. Council cannot remove graffiti from private or commercial property as it is the owner's responsibility. However we are here to help.
Free Graffiti Removal Kits
Council provide FREE Sosafe Graffiti Removal kits. They are available from Council's Civic Centres in both Wyong and Gosford and Central Coast Council Libraries.
A Graffiti Removal Kit Application Form (below) must be completed and given to customer service staff to collect the kit.
Which Kit is Right for the Job?
Blue for brick - stone, unpainted concrete etc.
Green for painted surfaces - painted concrete, colorbond fencing etc.
Graffiti Removal Trailer
The Wyong Regional Chamber of Commerce has partnered with the Rotary Club of Wyong Tuggerah to establish The Wyong Tuggerah Graffiti Squad. The squad uses a fully equipped trailer and volunteers to remove graffiti. If you would like more information please call 4352 2643.
