Central Coast Council is inviting the community to experience an outdoor cinema night nested in four beautiful locations around the Central Coast.

Get ready for a magical free outdoor cinema experience with the fabulous movie Lilo & Stitch (2002) at The Entrance, Toukley, Gosford and Wyong on Friday and Saturday evenings throughout April.

The free open-air cinema nights are aimed to activate town centres for families, community and visitors while supporting small businesses.

Outdoor movie night program dates:
Memorial Park, The Entrance – Friday, 12 April 2024
Toukley Village Green, Toukley – Saturday, 13 April 2024
Kibble Park, Gosford – Friday, 19 April 2024
The Chapman Lawn, Wyong – Saturday, 20 April 2024

Council Director of Community and Recreation Services, Melanie Smith said attendees are encouraged to tuck into some delicious food from a selection of local dining options before sitting down under the night sky for a free open-air screening of the family movie - ‘Lilo & Stitch’ (2002).

“Grab a picnic dinner, rug, and cushions to arrive at 4pm and join in some activities before the movie starts at 6pm.

“Along with the movie vibes, there will be roving entertainment, circus fun, face painting and lawn games,” Ms Smith said.

Council Administrator Rik Hart said placemaking events in town centres benefit both local businesses and the community.

“Movie nights, together with a range of other programs and events are being delivered by Council to activate town centres, support local businesses, and thus contribute to the local economy,” Mr Hart said.

“The evenings also create vibrant experiences for locals and visitors to enjoy with fun family free entertainment.”
