Central Coast Primary Care is thrilled to announce that Dr Ash Bowden, also known as Doctor Do More, is their new ambassador. The passionate and dedicated local emergency doctor will be working together with CCPC to help improve the physical and mental health and well-being of the local Central Coast community.

Based in Erina, Central Coast Primary Care (CCPC) has been delivering programs and services across the Central Coast for over 18 years. Employing over 450 individuals and contractors on the Central Coast, with tens of thousands of people accessing their various services annually, CCPC are recognised as a leading provider of NDIS and Mental Health services in the local region.

With services comprising Mental Health Programs, Community Programs, and Indigenous Programs, CCPC are a registered NDIS provider and operate several After Hours GP Clinics. CCPC CEO, Michelle Bradbury explains that the CCPCs “collaborative and innovative approach ensures that the people we work with are supported to improve their health and well-being. At CCPC our motto is simple: Better Health – Better Life”.

The CCPC team recognise the great work that Dr Ash is achieving in the community both as a local emergency doctor and as a public figure to help improve health and happiness. Doctor Do More has launched a free local physical activity search engine search engine suitable for all levels and abilities and is also an active advocate of mental health awareness. “This in so many ways parallel our values to improve health and wellness in our local community through the services we provide” states Bradbury.

With 1 in 5 Australians being affected by mental health illness, Doctor Do More and CCPC are helping to shed some positive light on improving mental health and wellness through physical activity. “As a mental health specialist organisation, we know that exercise is essential for our physical health and more importantly we need to spread the word that it is also beneficial for our mental health” says Bradbury.

Doctor Do More is all about practising what he preaches and can be found regularly attending classes and sessions with local physical activity providers. He is also putting on his dancing shoes as a contestant to help raise funds and awareness at the Cancer Council ‘Stars of the Coast 2020’. Here he and 11 other contestants will learn and perform a routine on stage at Laycock Street Theatre on Friday 15th May 2020.

CCPC are looking forward to working closely with Dr Ash and delivering new initiatives that can help the local community.
