Coast Sport launches new rehab & training equipment- AlterG® Anti-Gravity Treadmill.

Coast Sport is excited to launch their new training and rehabilitation AlterG® Anti-Gravity Treadmill.  The popular local allied health provider is continually stepping it up for their patients to provide the most technologically advanced and clinically proven solutions on the Central Coast.

AlterG® Anti-Gravity Treadmills® with patented Differential Air Pressure technology are leading the revolution in body weight supported therapy. With more freedom, greater precision, and broader application, AlterG® enables people to move in ways they could never have imagined. All to recover, maintain, and enhance physical function for better mobility, health, and performance.

Directors and head Physiotherapists, Matt Cranney and Brett Doring are excited by the introduction of their new equipment explaining that the new “Alter G Anti-Gravity Treadmill delivers physical rehab and training benefits you can’t get any other way” says Cranney.

Combining patented, NASA Differential Air Pressure (DAP) technology, an intuitive touchscreen interface, real-time gait analytics, and live video monitoring, Alter G Anti-Gravity Treadmill enables body weight supported walking, running, and closed-kinetic chain exercise like never before.

Rehab and Train Without Pain

The AlterG® Anti-Gravity Treadmill® gives patients the opportunity to rehab from surgery, or train through injury, without pain. AlterG’s unique unweighting technology reduces the impact of walking or running, while your body goes through the normal healing process.

  • Precise unweighting allows you to walk or run between 20 and 100 percent of your body weight
  • Easily select your reduced body weight where movement becomes pain free
  • Give yourself the opportunity for a smooth progression back to full recovery
  • Lower the impact on your joints and muscles during exercise
  • Fun and easy to use, run or walk like you’re on the moon!

The AlterG® Anti-Gravity Treadmill® integrates Stride Smart Gait Analytics that measure the effects of gravitational loading and unloading while providing simple, direct visual feedback on gait symmetry and pain levels – helping clinicians to see the direct effects of unweighting and make corrections in real time.

Whether you are rehabilitating after surgery, training through an injury, requiring reduced impact training and conditioning or just want to mix up your training, this amazing new service available at Coast Sport is your chance to defy gravity and achieve results out of this world!

Bookings can be made by calling 4356 3588 or online. The Coast Sport team look forward to seeing you in the clinic soon so that you can test drive the AlterG for yourself!
