Clambake II - Naughty Noodle @ Lakes Festival
A diverse basket of all things satirical, CLAMBAKE II is a fresh delivery of some of the most magnificent and unusual creatures the Coastie waterways have ever offered. A magnificent hand cast showcase from some of Australia’s best contemporary Fringe artists with a sprinkle of Coastal-Local species.
Kicking off the Naughty Noodle Fun Haus 2nd season, Clambake II, “A different kettle of Fish” will be closing out The Central Coast Lakes Festival with a very special Ettalong beach Variety show @ their new home base inside the Original Ettalong hall built in the 1920s & built for “pictures & other entertainments”. Almost 97 years to the day, in November 1922 The Woy Woy Herald reported “The Hall looked handsome in array & electric lights arranged over the front elevation gave Ettalong a gala appearance” and it was “hoped that the splendid service which illuminated the hall that night was but the start of a scheme which would serve the whole locality”.
Naughty Noodle is indeed set to re-ignite Ettalong Beach imagination with a platter of underwater oddities for your Peninsula pleasure as Local Fringe monger Glitta Supernova leads the parade with self-titled “one-armed vixen” the 3 times international pole champion Debzillah, Fresh from Broken Heel Festival Jojo Zaho, Wet n wild Khandi kum Loudly (aka Vanity Flair), Darling of circus Hooping Harlet & our local offering The voice of celestial enchantress Miss Tree.
Central Coast NSW’s Home for Cutting-edge Performance & Discourse Naughty Noodle Fun Haus Arts & Culture organisation is intentionally leveraging the power of the arts, “Diversity as the norm, we are here to amplify exposure to a greater range of voices and perspective, beyond ticking of boxes, genuine inclusion of everybody is the only way to happier, healthier & more welcoming communities”
“We operate with a global mindset & reflect diversity that is universal. Our 1st 12 months of dynamic, original & engaging arts based activations including October’s ground breaking Coastal Twist festival speak to both our Central Coast & broader Australian Major Cities and regional Communities. With no infrastructure or state support our region has pulled together, from council to local & national businesses & brought almost 10,000 coasties and visitors together through our virtual doorways in 12 months, all voting with bums on seats, grass, sand and rocks for meaningful creative work that facilitates economic development, innovation, community evolution & connects/reflects diversity & possibilities for inclusion of all people”
