Chain Valley Gift’s finalist in Unsung Hero of Retail Awards
The Online Retail Industry Awards celebrates the achievements of innovative leaders across the country with Ralph one of six finalists in the new Australia Post Unsung Hero – Small Business Award. The award was introduced this year to recognise the individuals behind the scenes who have made business possible and kept it running during the nation’s toughest challenges of 2020.
Co-owner and daughter, Cassie Ralph said the award is voted by industry leaders, not the general public and highlights just how hard Ralph has worked during this year.
“Not only has Mum pushed ahead with a retail business during Covid-19, but she has managed to grow the business too, with the business growing so much we expanded into a larger factory and hired additional staff.
We know how important jobs are now, more than ever, so to be in a position to hire four staff locally, it’s a real win for the area”
The mother daughter duo has been operating the retail business for 5 years, which first started out as a gift store in Chain Valley Bay. The business has continued from strength to strength and this year has been no exception. What started as a hobby business has now grown from 2 staff to 7 and distribute across the country and globally.
Chain Valley Gifts have a gift for every occasion and specialise in innovative and unique personalised gifts for all ages, genders, and occasions.
