Avoca Lake right behind Avoca Beach is the best kept secret on the Central Coast. A large coastal lagoon, right in the heart of the village, yet largely untouched by development. From the F3, (heading north) take the Gosford exit. Follow the Central Coast Highway to Erina. Take the Avoca Drive turn off at the lights. Follow Avoca Beach signs. In the township take the first left after the shopping strip into Ficus Ave, follow it all the way to the second car park behind the oval (Heazlett Park). Park, then walk to the water's edge through the reserve.
