Search Begins for Central Coast’s Aged Care and Disability Sector Superstars
Presented by SEASONS Network, the Awards provide the opportunity to recognise and reward the outstanding efforts and achievements of local staff and businesses, who are excelling in their areas of expertise across the aged care and disability sectors.
Event Manager, Elyce Bichel, said the awards recognise those who go above and beyond, rewarding the hardworking individuals and groups who give tirelessly to our aged care and disability care communities.
“On a daily basis aged care professionals, carers and organisations are working tirelessly to improve the health outcomes of older Australians and those living with a disability,” Ms Bichel said.
“The Awards are a way to celebrate the outstanding leadership, innovation and care undertaken by the many individuals and organisations working in the Central Coast.”
Nominations can be made under the following categories:
- Volunteer of the Year
- Home Care Employee or Service of the Year
- Aged Care Employee or Executive/Manager of the Year
- Residential Aged Care Employee or Facility of the Year
- Disability Sector Employee of the Year
- Disability Service of the Year
- Retirement Village of the Year
- Community Group/ Business Recognition Award
- Culturally Diverse or Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Project Recognition
- Aged Care or Disability Innovative Project of the Year
Anyone can nominate an individual or business who they believe to be making a noteworthy contribution towards the care and wellbeing of aged, frail and vulnerable people within the Central Coast community.
Winners will be announced at an event on Friday 18 November at Diggers @ The Entrance.
