Award-Winning Artists Catherine Britt and Amber Lawrence Come to Ettalong
Joining them is fellow Golden Guitar winner Fanny Lumsden as their special guest opening artist.
These leading ladies of country will perform their own sets of hits and favourites and join each other on stage for collaborations in a two-hour show that will have you embrace their cheeky wit, sassy style and award-winning songwriting.
Releasing her fifth studio album, Happy Ever After last year, Amber is a Golden Guitar and CMC Award winner. She has risen to the top of the charts and country music in Australia through talent and determination. The former Qantas accountant from Sydney is enjoying life on the road with her friends.
“In recent years Catherine has gone from being someone I admired musically from afar, to a good friend who makes me laugh a lot,” Amber said. “When you’re on the road, you pretty much live in each other’s pockets, so I’m really enjoying the laughs that we share on this crazy trip around Australia and, more importantly, I’m enjoying the musical journey, sharing our stories and our fans and hopefully reaching a much bigger country music audience.”
Catherine released her debut EP when she was 14 and spent six years in Nashville and is still the youngest artist to perform at the Grand Ole Opry – she was 17. She is a five-time Golden Guitar winner and was named the 2010 CMA Global Artist of the Year.
“I have hit the road with two of my good friends and two artists who I admire as both songwriters and women who have a hold on their destiny through drive and hard work,” she said. “I am so excited to travel together, playing music together and seeing this beautiful country as a team on the Love & Lies Tour.”
Fanny won the 2017 New Talent of the Year Golden Guitar in Tamworth in January and her debut album, Small Town Big Shot, came in at #6 on the Country ARIA Chart, #15 on the AIR Chart and has gained critical acclaim along with reaching #1 on the CMC chart for three weeks.
