Bateau Bay is situated just a few kilometres south of The Entrance neighbouring Shelly Beach. Here you can discover Central Coast natural sea-side flora and fauna with stunning coastline walks.

Bateau Bay is extremely popular for fishing either from the beach itself or the coastal rocks. The rock cliffs are an iconic feature of the Central Coast region as well as the many rocky bases ideal for exploring at low tide.

 

Attractions

Crackneck Point Lookout features the perfect Central Coast picnic spot with amazing views over The Entrance and further north to Toukley and Budgewoi.

Bateau Bay is home to the Wyrabalong National Park which spans 140ha. Be on the lookout for goannas, the tawny frogmouth as well as other exciting wildlife.
